The golf course at Monte Campanador will very naturally blend in with the existing flora of the property. The beautiful trees will create natural obstacles in the course and the existing gently sloping hills create a course which could have been there already for decades. The golf course layout for Monte Campanador is designed by Jol Golf Design, an in Holland and Denmark based golf course architects firm, Members of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects. The firm has made more than 45 golf courses and is involved in a lot remodelling projects. Jol Golf Design has three award winning architects, Gerard Jol, Michiel van der Vaart en Philip Spogárd. They have won “The Development of the Year 2011 Award” from the Golf Inc. Magazin, for the design of “GC Stippelberg” in the Netherlands. Presently they are involved in several new developments and upgradings throughout Europe.
In 2010 Cariya Golfclub in Belek, Turkey has received the Award for “The Best European Development” in 2010 and Philip Spogárd, was also involved in that project. They believe in the natural beauty of this particular plot and are convinced that this is an excellent location to create an outstanding golf course. A golf course which is a challenge for players of all levels and where it is not a must to use golfbuggies to get around the course.
