LOCATION

Monte Campanador is part of the Southern Alentejo region and only forty-five minutes from the Algarve beaches or Portugal’s west coast. The resort itself, close to the village Ourique, is only minutes away from the main highway linking Lisbon and the Algarve, and Lisbon a mere two hour drive. Faro airport is also less than an hour away; Beja airport opened in May 2011, and is even closer than the airport of Lisbon and Faro. Twice a week there are flights from Hainan China to Lisbon Airport. The entire Southern Alentejo region is presently seeing a wave of developments, with several new resorts and over twenty golf courses within an hour’s travel.
